It's a girl!!!

We finally got to find out that we're having a little girl. I was so nervous leading up to the appointment that if they said it was a girl Brett was going to be upset because I know how badly he wanted a little baseball player. Let me tell you though, she's going to be daddy's little girl!

I couldn't be happier. The more I think about it the more excited I get knowing I'm going to get to have a little sidekick! Everything at the doctors went great! We found out she's healthy as can be, normal blood work and no traceable diseases. I just love hearing her heartbeat at all the doctor's appointments, too. Next appointment is the 31st.

5 months along and things are going great. Granted, I have the occassional breakdown because 'I've been halfway there FOREVER!' or because brett left the buns on the counter?.. Yeah, that was a weird one. But overall, the moodswings are few and far between. Otherwise, just a sore back and feet are a bit swollen. It's all worth it though for Little Miss Kinsley Marie!

Of course as soon as we got home from the doctor I was thinking PINK! I had to start looking at bedding, etc. IMMEDIATELY. I'm completely opposed to the usual themed nursey. I'm no fan of ducks, frogs, jungle animals or princesses. Little Kinsley is going to be our little princess but she's also going to classy & stylish from day 1!! I have my heart 100% set on this bedroom set for her. Of course I can't pick something from like Walmart, JCPenny or Target; it's some special bedding on a special website. Anything for my baby though! :)
