There's a baby on board!

Because we live hours away from so many of our family & friends, I decided a blog would be a great way for all of you to have a closer look into what's going on with Baby Ripley, Mommy & Daddy as we anxiously await & prepare for January 2, 2011.

Our Little Buckeye Baby

Well, Kinsley hasn't even been born yet, obviously, and she's already following appropriately in her Daddy & Mommy's footsteps... she's OUR LITTLE BUCKEYE BABY! You have to understand that being a Buckeye isn't necessarily a choice, it's a lifestyle. Buckeye fans are fans from birth, their parents & their grandparents were fans, have followed the tradition of the greats over the decades & it's in our blood. Kinsley will be no different. She'll trust in Tressel & be a little cheerleader from the time she can walk/talk just like her Mama! Daddy is proud & ready to watch games with her!

With that, the Ohio State gear as already been making it's arrival for little Kinsley. The first came as a little surprise in mail one afternoon from Aunt Ashton & Uncle Josh. The little cheerleading outfit is going to be perfect for next football season. Now, we just need to find her some adorable little OSU ribbons for her hair so we can do pigtails, etc.! Next, Grandpa & Grandma Ripley spent a weekend in Columbus for the OSU v. E. Michigan game. A few days later, we receive a package in the mail from New Martinsville. Sure enough, the Ripley Grandparents couldn't resist and sent Kinsley a little beanie. This is perfect because it's for newborns & can be worn as soon as she's born! Hopefully Ohio State will be in the National Championship & she'll already be here. Guess what she'll be wearing???!!!

Finally, with all the news of the Buckeye attire, my mom couldn't resist. Last Sunday, I was at my parents in Ohio for a brief visit before the Wheeling Area College Fair & she had to pull out the latest for Miss Kinsley, a little Ohio State Buckeye dress. The best part of the dress.. the little underpants that came with it! Needless to say, Brett & I are so excited! 12 more weeks!!!
